Call Of Duty Mobile: Zombies Shi No Numa Secret Boss Fight Guide
The classic Zombies mode has made a triumphant return in Call of Duty Mobile, bringing with it the excitement of the Easter egg boss fight. The latest update, Season 9: Zombies Are Back, is themed around Halloween and reintroduces the beloved Shi No Numa Zombies map, which includes a hidden boss encounter. This guide will provide essential steps to unlock and conquer this thrilling challenge.
Shi No Numa was previously available in Call of Duty Mobile in 2019 but was later replaced by the objective-based "Undead Siege" mode. Even if players experienced Shi No Numa during its initial release, they must follow specific steps to access the boss fight in the current version. Upon logging into the game and downloading the Season 9 update, players must complete a brief tutorial that covers the basics of the Zombies mode. Following this, they need to participate in one match of Classic Shi No Numa and survive for eight rounds to unlock Hardcore mode, which is necessary for the boss fight.
Players can choose to tackle this challenge solo or in a squad of four. For those opting for solo play, it is crucial to disable the auto-fill option before starting the match. Once in Hardcore mode, players can initiate the steps to activate the boss fight. Although these steps can be completed in the earlier rounds, the boss will only appear after round 12, allowing ample time to gather resources and prepare for the encounter.
To begin, players will spawn at the top of the main hut. Surviving the initial waves of zombies will earn them 1,000 points, which is necessary to unlock a door. While there is no price difference between the doors, it is advisable to open the one leading to the stairs for convenience. Once downstairs, players should search for gear parts to repair the broken elevator lift located on the upper level of the main hut's balcony. These gear-shaped items are relatively easy to find and can be picked up when approached. A total of two gear parts is required to fix the lift.
After collecting the gear pieces, players should return to the balcony and interact with the red electrical box attached to the lift. This interaction must be done twice for repairs and a third time to activate the lift. The lift will then transport players to an underground lab. From the starting corridor, a left turn will lead to a room filled with large chemical vats and glass cases. Players must shoot the blue glowing plants that sprout from the glass cases until they cease to spawn.
The final step involves activating a machine in the adjacent room, which will have a red light and a prompt to "start" when approached. Once activated, players must survive the remaining 12 rounds before the Jubokko plant boss appears. To prepare for this battle, acquiring essential perks is crucial. Juggernog and Double Tap are highly recommended, as they enhance health and damage output. Stamin-Up is also beneficial, as Jubokko is a formidable opponent that will chase players relentlessly.
Upgrading weapons through the Pack-A-Punch machine is vital for success in this fight. However, the Pack-A-Punch machine will also require repairs, needing two Electronic Components found in the perk huts scattered around the map. Weapon choices such as the ray gun Wonder Weapon, Holger 26 light machine gun, RPD light machine gun, or the JAK-12 shotgun are excellent options for upgrading.
While not essential, players may want to invest in armor if they have enough points, as it can provide an extra layer of protection. Armor can be found in the supply machine located on the lower level of the main hut, starting at 1,000 points for the first upgrade. Players will need to deplete two health bars to defeat Jubokko, but with the right strategies and preparations, victory is within reach.
