Step 1: Remove the LCD Screen

Next, you’ll need to remove the two 2.5 mm Phillips #PH00 black screws on both sides of the LCD screen. Use a Phillips #PH00 screwdriver to remove these screws.

Step 3: Remove the Rear Cover

Now, use a plastic opening tool to carefully pry off the back cover of the LCD. Start from the top and work your way down. Be careful not to damage the cover or the LCD screen.

Step 4: Disconnect the Rear Connector

Using tweezers, carefully disconnect the rear connector by pulling it away from the screen. This will allow you to access the screws that hold the rear cover in place.

Step 5: Remove the Screws and Eye Piece

Now, you’ll see four 2.2 mm Phillips #PH00 screws holding a cover around the hinge. Remove these screws using a PH00 screwdriver. The eye piece will slide right off with a firm push upwards.

Step 6: Remove the Remaining Screws and Rubber Grip

Remove the 3.4 mm Phillips #PH00 screw using a PH00 screwdriver. Then, remove the two 9.9 mm Phillips #PH00 screws using the PH00 screwdriver. Finally, remove the 3.8 mm Phillips #PH00 screw located on the back of the camera.

Step 7: Remove the Side Cover

Using the plastic opening tool, carefully pry off the side cover. This will give you access to the interior of the camera.
