DIY Guide to Replace Samsung Galaxy A52 Screen

Now it’s time to give that screen a brand-new look! In this awesome photo guide, we’ll walk you through each step of the process to make it as smooth as possible.

Step 1

– First, give the side and volume down button a good squeeze together for a few seconds.

– Next, tap on ‘Switch off’ from the menu that pops up.

– And just like that, your phone will be powering down completely in just a few moments!

Step 2

– For this next part, it’s time to give that SIM tray a little nudge! Grab your trusty SIM tool or any pointy object you have lying around, and gently press it into the tiny round hole right next to the tray. Out it comes!

Step 3

– Warm up that glue by gently waving a hot air tool around the edge of the back cover. Let’s get that adhesive nice and toasty for a smooth lift-off!

Step 4

– Grab a suction cup and stick it to the bottom edge of the back cover. Give it a gentle tug upwards to create a little gap. While you’re at it, slide that iFlex tool between the screen and the back cover. You’re doing great!

Step 5

– Go ahead and run your tool all the way around the back cover’s edge to gently loosen it up, piece by piece. Don’t forget to warm up that adhesive in between for a smoother ride!

– Slide those flat picks under the back cover at regular intervals to keep the glue from getting too cozy again.

Step 6

– Time to tackle those 10 Phillips screws hanging out above the motherboard! Let’s get them out of there.

– Once you’ve wrangled them free, make sure to pop them onto the magnetic pad so they don’t go wandering off!

Step 7

– Grab your trusty prying tool, like a spudger, and gently coax that unscrewed cover out of the case. You’re doing great!

– Now, just set it aside for a moment while you continue your repair adventure.

Step 9

– Let’s get those six Phillips screws that are holding the speaker module in place nice and loose!

– Once you’ve got them out, don’t forget to drop them onto the magnetic pad to keep them safe and sound.

Step 10

– Gently coax that unscrewed speaker out of its cozy little home and set it aside for now.

Step 11

– Grab your trusty spudger and gently pry apart those three connectors, one by one. You’ve got this!

– Once you’ve freed the cable, carefully lift it out of the device and set it aside like a pro.

Step 12

– Gently unhook the front camera from the board, like you’re giving it a little hug goodbye.

– Carefully lift the camera out of the device and set it aside, like a little treasure waiting to be reintroduced!

Step 13

– First, gently pry off the small metal connector of the two antenna cables from the motherboard using your trusty tweezers.

– Next, carefully pull both antenna cables out of their guide in the case frame. You’re doing awesome!

Step 14

– Unscrew that lone Phillips screw holding the motherboard in place and give it a little wiggle!

– Now, with a gentle touch, ease that motherboard out of the device like a pro. You’ve got this!

Step 15

– Use a spudger+Galaxy+A52&crid=1TJIMMAJSUJUZ&sprefix=repair+tools%2Caps%2C165&linkCode=ll2&tag=salvationrepa-20&linkId=c486487cf454ce8edd6f5beefab4110f&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl'>plastic spudger to carefully pry the connector of the fingerprint scanner away from the USB board.

Step 16

– Unscrew the lone Phillips screw that keeps the USB board snug in the screen unit. Easy peasy!

– Carefully lift the USB board, making sure those antenna cables are still attached, and set it aside like a pro.

Step 17

– Gently slide a pair of tweezers beneath the fingerprint scanner to pop it free from its cozy little guide.

Step 18

– Gently slide a pair of tweezers under the vibration motor to set it free from its cozy guide. You’re doing great!

Step 19

– Warm up that battery by giving it a little love with a hot air gun, gliding it smoothly over the opposite side of the screen. Let’s make that adhesive a bit friendlier for removal!

Step 20

– Grab a lever tool, like the trusty battery spudger, and give one of the long edges of the battery a gentle lift. Just a little nudge will do!

– Next, slide the flat iPlastix under the battery at the edge you just lifted, working it in bit by bit until the battery is fully freed from its snug spot against the screen unit.

– Finally, go ahead and lift that liberated battery out of your device. You’re on a roll!

Step 21

– Peel off all the protective film from the inside of your shiny new screen. We want it looking its best!

– To keep the screen safe from any scratches while you work your magic, feel free to leave the film on the glass until you’re all done with the repair.

Step 22

– Nestle the battery snugly into its spot within the screen unit and give it a good press to make sure it’s settled in nicely.

Step 23

– Carefully place the vibration motor back into its cozy little guide and give it a gentle press to make sure it’s snug as a bug!

Step 24

– Gently place the fingerprint scanner back into its cozy little guide and give it a light press to make sure it’s snug as a bug!

Step 25

– Slide that board right into the screen unit, making sure it fits snugly!

– Secure it with a single Phillips screw to keep everything in place.

Step 26

– Reconnect the fingerprint scanner’s connector to the USB board by giving it a gentle push down. You should hear a satisfying click as it settles into place.

Step 27

– Carefully place the board back into the screen unit and give it a gentle press to secure it in place.

– Fasten it down with that one trusty Phillips screw to keep everything nice and snug.

Step 28

– First, grab those trusty tweezers and gently guide the two antenna cables back into their cozy little home at the edge of the case.

– Next, connect them to the motherboard with a satisfying click! You should hear and feel it lock into place. You’re doing fantastic!

Step 29

– Carefully slide the front camera back into its designated spot, making sure it fits just right.

– Connect it to the motherboard. You should hear a satisfying click as it locks into place, letting you know it’s ready for action!

Step 30

– Position that connecting cable right above the battery, using its labels to guide you like a pro.

– Gently press down on its three connectors to snugly reattach them to the USB and motherboard. You’ve got this!

Step 31

– Pop that speaker back in its spot!

– Then, secure it with six Phillips screws to keep it cozy.

Step 32

– Gently press the battery connector onto the motherboard to establish a solid connection. You’re doing great!

Step 33

– Pop that cover back on like a champ!

– Then, secure it with ten Phillips screws to keep everything cozy inside.

Step 34

– Alright, let’s fire up that A52 again! Give it a little power boost.

– Swipe an app across the screen and see if the touch is working like a charm everywhere.

– Don’t forget to give that fingerprint scanner a test run too!

– Give that adhesive frame a warm hug with your hot air tool to make it easier to peel away from the back cover.

– Now, gently coax it off piece by piece using a trusty pair of tweezers. You’re doing fantastic!

Step 36

– Start by peeling away the carrier film from the bottom of the adhesive frame and press it onto the edge of the back cover. If you need a little extra help, a spudger is your trusty sidekick for this part!

– Now, with a gentle touch, peel off the two remaining protective films from the top of the adhesive frame one at a time. You’re doing awesome!

– To wrap things up, gently press the back cover of your Samsung Galaxy A52 back onto the screen unit. You’ve got this!

– Once you’ve snugged that back cover into place, it’s time to reinsert the SIM tray! Just slide it back in until you hear that satisfying click—like a little victory cheer for your device!
