Have fun, and good luck with your DIY repair! We’d love to hear your thoughts on our guide, so feel free to share your feedback. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 2
Keep your device safe from scratches by laying it down on a clean, soft surface. It’s a simple step that goes a long way in protecting your screen!
– First, flip your Galaxy S10 over so the screen is facing down. Let’s get started!

Step 3
Heads up! Once you pop open your Galaxy S10, it waves goodbye to its waterproof charm, and the warranty for dust and splash protection takes a hike. So, handle with care!
– Grab a suction cup and stick it right at the bottom of the back cover. Give it a gentle pull upwards to create a little gap between the back cover and the housing frame. You’re doing great!
– Next, take a flat, sturdy tool and slide it into that gap you just made. Give it a little nudge to widen the opening by pushing the back cover up a bit more. We recommend using the iFlex for this part. Keep it up!

Step 4
– Grab a flat plastic tool and gently work your way around the edge of the housing, piece by piece. The iPlastix is a great choice for this task!
Be careful not to poke your tool in too deep—let’s keep everything under the back cover safe and sound!
The iFlex is crafted from thin, tough metal, making it your go-to tool for slipping into the tight space between the back cover and the case frame. Just a heads up, the sharp edges of the iFlex can be a bit rough on the frame, so we suggest using it for those initial moves before switching it up with the iPlastix. The iPlastix is made from flexible plastic, making it a gentler option for your device. Remember, if you need help, you can always schedule a repair.

Step 5
8 × 3,9 mm Phillips
– First unscrew the Phillips screws that hold the plastic cover in place.
– Slide a flat tool under the glued coil to carefully loosen it. We use a steel spatula for this purpose.
– Then lever the plastic cover with a lever tool from the upper edge of the display unit. For this purpose we use a plastic spudger.
– Now you can remove the cover including the coil and the NFC antenna.
Step 7
7 × 3,9 mm Phillips
Look out for the small triangle marking where your tool fits perfectly!
Step 8
Camera connector
To keep those delicate PCB components safe and sound, remember to always pry from the side that’s clear of any components. You’re doing great!
– Gently pry the front camera connector away from the mainboard using a spudger. You’re almost there!
– Once it’s free, carefully lift the camera out of its spot with tweezers. You’ve got this!
Step 9
3 × 3,7 mm Phillips
Headphone connector
Display connector
– Hey there, let’s start by gently removing both the display connector and the headphone jack from the mainboard using a spudger.
– Next, let’s take out the three Phillips screws that hold the board in place on the display unit.
Step 10
Camera connector
The camera module is gently stuck at the edge. If it’s giving you trouble and doesn’t want to budge, a little hot air should do the trick to loosen it up. No worries, just take your time!
– First things first, gently pry apart the two camera connectors located at the bottom of the mainboard using a spudger. Take your time; we want to keep everything happy and intact!
– Next up, with a steady hand, use a pair of tweezers to delicately lift the rear camera out of its snug little home on the mainboard. You’ve got this!

Step 17
Before you snug up that back cover, give your device a whirl! Make sure to check out the functionality of the component you just replaced. It’s a great way to ensure everything is working smoothly and ready for action!
– Power up your device and give Samsung’s built-in test mode a whirl!
– Use this key combo: *#0*#
– Check out the test menu and put your display, cameras, and sensors to the test!
Step 18
– Pop that back cover back where it belongs!
– Give it a nice, even press all over to make sure the adhesive gets a good grip. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair
If the adhesive frame on your back cover is looking a bit shabby, it’s time to roll up your sleeves! Gently clean off that old adhesive residue and get ready to stick on a fresh new frame. But if your adhesive frame is still holding strong, you can simply pop that back cover right back on! And remember, if you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
