How To Fix Iphone 13 Pro Screen Tutorial

Phone Battery Replacement

So, your phone’s battery is about as useful as a chocolate fireguard? Time for a change! At Salvation Repair, we offer a limited lifetime guarantee on all parts and labor. Plus, we’re here to guide you through this process, even if you’d rather leave the actual repair to the pros (which, let’s be honest, is probably a good idea). To schedule a repair go to Schedule a repair. If you’re feeling adventurous and want to tackle this yourself, just keep reading!

Disconnect that Battery!

First things first—safety! Before you do anything else, make sure your phone is powered off. Now, grab your trusty VoltClip and plug its barrel connector into the USB-C elbow. Important note: Don’t even think about connecting the VoltClip to a power source just yet! Those alligator clips are like toddlers—leave them unattended, and they might just short-circuit something (and nobody wants that).

Time for Some Adhesive Removal

Locate the silver tab at the bottom edge of your battery. Using a clean fingernail or an opening pick, gently peel it up (like you’re opening a really stubborn bag of chips). Now, remember those alligator clips we talked about? Time to put them to work! Attach the red one to the silver tab on the battery and the black one to the grounding screw. Double-check to make sure the red clip isn’t getting too friendly with any other metallic surfaces—we don’t want any accidental sparks flying.

The Waiting Game (and a Bit More)

Now, connect your powered USB-C cable to the USB-C elbow, grab a cup of coffee, and wait 90 seconds. This gives the adhesive time to loosen up. Disconnect the USB-C cable from the elbow, then disconnect the alligator clips. Your adhesive should be feeling pretty loosey-goosey at this point. If your battery is putting up a fight, reconnect the VoltClip for an additional minute and try again. Remember, we’re not trying to stage a battery extraction here—gentle persuasion is key. Gently grip the silver tab and lift the battery out of the frame. Alternatively, you can use a suction handle for this step (because who doesn’t love a good suction handle?). If the battery is being stubborn, don’t force it! Reconnect the VoltClip for another minute and let it do its thing.
