Step 10
– Get ready to jazz up your repair groove by busting out your Torx driver. Remove those two outer 6.5 mm screws that are holding each of the two awesome display brackets in place on the upper case. That’s a total of 4 screws, so let’s show them who’s boss!
Step 11
– Flip open your MacBook so the screen is at a right angle to the top shell.
– Place your stylishly opened MacBook on a flat surface just like in the photo.
– With your left hand keeping the screen and top shell snug, grab your Torx driver and pop out the last 6.5 mm screw from the bottom display bracket. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 12
Keep a steady grip on the display and upper case with your left hand. If you let go, they might just take a tumble, and nobody wants that! Let’s keep those components safe and sound.
– Time to tackle the grand finale! Take out that last 6 mm Torx screw that’s holding the display and the upper case together. You’re one step closer! Need a hand? Don’t hesitate to schedule a repair.

– Gently lift the display upward and away from the upper case, keeping an eye out for any pesky brackets or cables that might try to tag along.
