Having trouble with your phone's speaker functionality? Don't worry, it's probably just time to swap out that external speaker phone! Follow this easy step-by-step guide to check for damage and replace it if needed. We've got you covered!
Step 1
- Gently slide the battery out from its cozy home in the back compartment of your phone. It should come out with a little nudge!
Step 2
- Take off the antenna top by unscrewing it.
Step 3
- Grab the antenna with your tweezers and nudge it gently upwards—like you're giving it a little boost!
- Now, go ahead and take out the antenna. Nice and easy!

- Pop out those four little screws (3 mm) in the battery compartment—they're ready to go!
- Now, find the release buttons on the sides of the phone. Give them a friendly press while you gently lift and wiggle the back plate off. Easy does it!
Step 5
- Squeeze those release tabs on the sides of the back casing—you're almost there!
- Carefully wiggle the motherboard free and lift it out like a pro.
Step 6
- First things first, find that back plate of your phone. Flip it over and take a peek inside!
- Next up, grab your trusty screwdriver and remove the 2 mm screw from the top of the inner back casing. You're doing great!
Step 7
- Grab your flat head screwdriver and gently pop out the external speaker unit. You're doing great!
Step 8
- Flip that external speaker over like you're about to show it who's boss.
- Gently peel off the black rubber casing—it’s like unwrapping a secret gift!
Step 9
- Woohoo! You made it! To put everything back together, just follow these steps in reverse. Easy peasy!
