– Grab a suction cup and attach it to the lower edge of the screen. Give it a good pull upwards to create a nice little gap between the screen and the case unit.
– Slide a flat, sturdy tool into that gap to help widen it a bit more.
Step 5
When you’re working near the volume buttons, remember to keep your tool at a safe distance! We want to avoid any accidental cable damage inside your device.
– Run that plastic tool all the way around the screen’s edge. Give it a little upward nudge at the same time to pop those hooked lugs free from the case.
– Once the screen is fully detached, gently unfold it towards the volume buttons and lean it against something stable. You’ve got this!

To fully liberate that screen, you’ll need to say goodbye to the battery connector and the two screen connectors. Don’t fret—they’re just hiding under two cover plates, waiting for you to give them a gentle nudge!
– Unscrew the six screws from the two cover plates and store them safely in your screw storage. You don’t want those little guys going on a field trip!
– Next, gently use a pair of tweezers to lift those plates off your device. Easy does it!
