Get ready to breathe new life into your Smartab STJR700 tablet by replacing the charging port. If you’ve tried everything and it still won’t charge, this step-by-step guide is here to help. Before you start, make sure there aren’t any other underlying hardware issues, like a damaged charger or a faulty battery, that could be causing the problem. Let’s get started and get your tablet up and running again. If you need help along the way, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 1
– Hold down the lock button to power off your device. Next, take off the case and lay your tablet down with the screen facing the surface.
Step 2
– Grab your trusty PH000 screwdriver from the kit and unscrew all four corner screws. Easy peasy!
Step 3
Heads up: Keep those fingers away from the display!
– Gently work your metal spudger into the tablet’s edge and pop it open. Once you’ve got it, carefully set the back panel aside.
