LexiBook Tablet One Battery Replacement
Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 5 Steps
Get ready to tackle the exciting task of battery removal and replacement! All you need is a trusty plastic spudger, a steady hand, and a sprinkle of patience. You’ve got this!
Step 1
Be careful when opening the device to avoid causing damage to the speaker or, worse still, the motherboard. Let’s take it one step at a time to get your device up and running smoothly!
The clips that keep the case snug are spaced about 1.5 inches apart, so get ready to get a little familiar with your device’s internals.
– Start by opening up the case—time to give your device some room to breathe! Take the blue plastic opening tool and slide it into the seam where the front and back casing meet. Give it a gentle pry until you hear that satisfying pop of the clip releasing. Then, keep moving around the edges, taking your time to separate the two halves completely. Remember, slow and steady wins the race!
Step 2
Watch out for those speaker wires! They have a sneaky habit of coming loose from both the speaker and the board. Keep an eye on them!
– Gently slide the spudger between the case and the speaker, giving it a little wiggle to loosen things up. Then, with a careful upward motion, pry the speaker out like you’re unveiling a hidden treasure. Once it’s free, set that speaker aside and get ready for the next step!

Step 3
It might feel like you’re applying some serious muscle here, and that’s totally okay! The adhesive is tough, but don’t sweat it. Just keep your tool steady, and make sure you don’t accidentally poke the battery or LCD. You’ve got this!
– Time to set that battery free! Use your trusty spudger to carefully pry between the battery and LCD, working your way around the battery until it’s loose and ready to come out. Don’t worry if it takes a little wiggling – it’s like getting a stubborn sticker off a surface, it’ll give eventually!

Step 4
– The tape securing the battery’s circuit board is quite the masterpiece! You’ll find two strips: one neatly folded over the side and the other giving a snug hug around the circuit board. Just peel both away gently, and you’re on your way!
