The motherboard is like the brain of your device – it keeps everything running smoothly. If it’s not working properly, your device won’t function at all, so a replacement might be necessary. Don’t worry though, if you run into trouble, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 1
– Step one: Before diving in, double-check that your device is powered down. We don’t want any accidental sparks flying!
– Grab yourself a plastic opening tool and gently pry off the tablet’s back cover. Take your time—no need to wrestle with it!
– Voila! The second picture shows the tablet minus its back cover. You’re doing great—keep going!
Step 2

– Gently detach the ribbon cable from the power button connector. No rush here, just a little patience.
– To free the cable, lift the clamp on the connector with a little push and pull it out carefully. It’s all about finesse!
Step 4
Grab your trusty screwdriver and either a Phillips #00 or #000 bit – we’re talking teeny-tiny screws here! Use the right bit to remove them with ease.
– Start by removing the screws that are holding the metal frame around the battery. Easy enough, right?
– You’ll need to unscrew five 2 mm Philips screws to get things moving.
Step 5
– Peel off the grey tape like you’re unwrapping a surprise gift.
– Take your trusty Phillips #000 drill bit and carefully unscrew the sneaky 2mm screw hiding in plain sight.

– Peel off that second piece of tape from the other ribbon cable hooked up to the battery—easy does it, you’re making progress!
Step 7
– Grab your trusty screwdriver and take out the two 2mm Phillips screws holding the battery connector cover in place. Easy peasy!
