DOPO 10.1 Tablet Speaker Replacement
Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 5 Steps
Swapping out the speakers is pretty straightforward, but you’ll need to know a bit about how electronic components tick. A basic understanding of motherboards and some know-how with soldering wires is key. Not sure how to solder? Check out the link below for a handy guide: How To Solder and Desolder Connections.
Step 1
– • Grab your trusty plastic tool and slide it into the little crease between those covers. Start by carefully slipping one of the tools between the front and back of your tablet, just like shown. Twist that plastic tool gently until you hear a satisfying pop as they separate. Keep at it, repeating this step until you’ve got those covers fully apart like a pro!
Step 2
– Let’s get those speakers cozy with that white cover of the tablet! Gently guide the wires back to the motherboard, taking care to peel away any tape clinging on for dear life. This little dance will let those wires loose and ready to move, making your repairs a breeze!
Step 3
– Let’s gently nudge the battery away from the panel just a bit. This little wiggle will make it easier to get those speakers out. Remember, we’re not trying to set the battery free completely—just a little separation will do the trick!
Step 4
– Carefully detach the red and black wires from the tablet’s motherboard. This will officially separate those pesky defective speakers from the motherboard, giving you one step closer to a working device!
Step 5
– Pop out those busted speakers from their cozy little spot in the tablet—time for a swap!
