Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 4 Steps
Is your tablet battery acting up? No worries, you’ve got this! In this step-by-step repair guide, we’ll walk you through the process of popping off the back cover, carefully unplugging the battery wires from the logic board, and swapping out that stubborn battery for a fresh one. With a little patience and the right tools, you’ll have your device powered up in no time!
Step 1
Pop off the back cover to get to the motherboard. It’s like opening a treasure chest, but instead of gold, you’ll find all the tech goodies inside!
– Grab your trusty 000 Philip’s screwdriver and let’s get to work! Carefully unscrew the 3.547 mm long screw hanging out at the bottom of your tablet. You’ve got this!
Step 2
– With a steady hand, glide the cover away from the ports in the direction of the arrow—it’s time to unveil the back cover!
Step 3
– Carefully detach the two wires that link the battery to the motherboard.
Step 4
The battery is glued in pretty well, so you might have to put in a little elbow grease to free it up.
– Carefully nudge the battery off the back of the device—it might need a little convincing, but don’t go overboard.
