Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 13 Steps
The motherboard is the heart of your device, connecting you to the internet, streaming your favorite videos, and powering other essential parts like speakers and battery. It’s the main event, and we’re about to dive in and get familiar with it.
Step 1
Before you get started, make sure to power off your device. It’s always better to be safe than sorry!
Take it easy with the screen. A little gentleness goes a long way—too much force could cause a crack or worse!
– Let’s get started by carefully prying a Jimmy around the seam of your device. Keep going until the back panel comes off – it’s like opening a little present, and you’ll be one step closer to fixing your device!

Step 4

Step 5
– Lift up the beige clip gently—it’s like opening the door to freedom for the cable.
– Grab the wide-nosed tweezers and give that blue tab a friendly pinch. It’s attached to the ribbon cable—team effort!
– Slide the blue tab out smoothly with a lateral move, like you’re gliding it on ice. Take your time until it’s completely out of its port.
