Acer Iconia B1-720 Battery Replacement

Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 6 Steps

Step 1

– Grab your trusty plastic opening tool and pop it into a gap near the charging port at the top of the device. Gently glide it in either direction along the device—smooth and steady wins the race!

Step 2

– Gently glide your tool along the edges until the rear cover is fully liberated!

– If necessary, slide the first tool into the gap you’ve created to keep it open, and then grab a second tool to nudge off the remaining bits of the rear cover.

Step 3

– Once you’ve successfully separated all the sides, it’s time to reveal the inner workings – simply lift the cover off your device and you’re one step closer to a successful repair!

Step 4

– Let’s get started by carefully peeling back the plastic tape that’s covering the battery connector.

Step 5

– Grab that trusty plastic opening tool and gently pry the battery away from the back panel. Remember, the adhesive can be a bit stubborn, so don’t be shy to use a little extra muscle if needed!

Step 6

– Carefully lift the battery off the panel—it’s like peeling off a sticker, but cooler. This will unplug the battery connector from the motherboard, giving your device a little breathing room.

Success!
Now it’s time to put everything back together! Just follow these steps in reverse and you’ll be all set. If you run into any tricky spots, remember, you can always schedule a repair for some extra help.
