Ready to give your computer a serious power-up? This step-by-step guide will walk you through swapping out the RAM stick with confidence and clarity.
Step 1
– Give the tab a little tug, and voilà, the lid pops right open—easy peasy!
Step 2
– Take hold of the lid and gently lift it off. It’s easier than it sounds!
Step 3
The cables are seated right next to each other in the drive.
– Gently unplug both sets of cables from the side of the optical drive with smooth, confident moves.
Step 4
– Lift the tab to release the optical drive, it’s like a little unlock button.
– Now, gently slide the optical drive out and make sure it comes free easily.
Step 5
– Gently press down on those white tabs on either side of the RAM stick, and watch that stick pop up like it’s ready for action!
Step 6
– Carefully lift the RAM stick straight up and out of its cozy little home.
– When you’re ready to pop in a new RAM stick, give it a solid push down into the slot until those cheerful white tabs click into place on both sides of the stick.
