Step 1
Ensure your laptop is powered down before we dive in!
– Turn your laptop belly-up, giving it a spin so the battery side is front and center.
Step 2
– Slip the pointy end of your trusty spudger into the battery lock groove. Give that lock a gentle push to the left with the spudger—just enough to hear that satisfying little ‘click’ as the battery pops free. Easy peasy!

– Gently tug the battery towards you to pop it out from the laptop—easy-peasy!
Step 4
– Let’s get started by removing all eighteen 8 mm screws using a trusty Phillips #0 screwdriver. Take your time and make sure to keep those screws organized – you’ll need them later!

Take it easy—those plastic clips are fragile, so work carefully to keep them intact!
– Gently wiggle a metal spudger along the seam to pop those clips holding the keyboard in place. You’ve got this!

– Gently lift up the white hinge with care. Disconnect the trio of ZIF ribbons attached to the motherboard—take it slow, you’re doing great!
– Slide off the panel housing the keyboard and touchpad. Look at you, making progress like a pro!

– Spot the WiFi card chillin’ on the motherboard.

Black is on the left, and white is on the right. Let’s get this sorted out!
– Spot those two antenna cables indicated here. Got ’em? Sweet.
– Grab a trusty plastic opening tool and carefully lift both antenna cables off the WiFi card. Easy does it—just gently pry them up!

Before unscrewing, make sure those antenna cables are out of the way—no one likes a tangled mess!
