Step 1
– Gently lay the computer on its side like it’s about to take a cozy nap, just as shown.
– Spin out the two 14mm screws you see here. They’re loose enough for a hand-powered unscrew—no tools needed!
Step 2
– Slide that side panel back like a pro—straight back and off it goes!
Step 3
– Give those three tabs a gentle tug upwards, like you’re giving them a little high-five!
– Now, swing that front panel open like a door to a surprise party, and carefully lift off the cover. Easy peasy!
Step 4
– Hold down the button labeled ‘push’ with some gentle force and smoothly slide the optical drive outward. Keep it cool, you’ve got this!
