Step 1

– First things first, let’s make sure your laptop is completely powered down and unplugged from any power sources. Safety first, folks!

– Now, flip that laptop over and let’s get a good look at its back side!

Step 2

– Push the release latch while gently pulling the battery backward like a pro.

Step 3

– Gently slide the battery out of its comfy little bay like it’s coming out of retirement—smooth and steady wins the game!

Step 4

– Grab your Phillips #1 screwdriver and unscrew the four 3mm screws keeping the base cover locked in place. Nice and easy does the trick!

Step 5

– Gently pop the base cover straight up from the laptop—like unveiling a surprise!

Step 6

– Pop that battery out with confidence, then grab a Phillips #1 screwdriver and remove the two 3mm screws underneath. These little guys are holding down the Center Control Cover, so let’s free it up!

Step 7

– Flip the laptop over to face the front, then open up the display as wide as it’ll go—like you’re giving it a big stretch before the real work begins.

Step 8

– Gently pop off the Center Control Cover from your laptop. There’s a little notch on the right side that makes it the perfect starting point for your cover removal adventure.

– Now, carefully lift the Center Control Cover away from the laptop, like you’re unveiling a surprise gift!

Step 9

– Unscrew the two top screws (5mm Phillips #1)—they’re like the gatekeepers to your keyboard kingdom. Time to show them who’s boss!

Step 10

– Time to get inside! Carefully slide the keyboard out and away from the laptop, then lift it up to reveal the keyboard connector. You’re making great progress!

Step 11

– Flip up the little latch holding the keyboard cable in place on the motherboard, and gently slide out the cable. Easy peasy!

Step 12

– To wrap things up, simply reverse the steps and you’ll be back in business!

– If you need help or have any questions, you can always schedule a repair
