Swapping out the speaker is a breeze. It’s securely fastened to the back panel, so you can breathe easy—no need to fiddle with the motherboard.

Step 1

– Begin at any corner and gently slide the pry tool between the shiny chrome screen frame and the sleek black phone housing.

– Carefully glide the pry tool around the tablet, applying just the right amount of pressure to separate the screen from the phone housing.

Step 2

– Gently pop the rear housing away from the front panel assembly, like you’re separating two besties after an argument. You got this!

Step 3

– To get to the speaker connection, start by peeling back part of the surrounding water gasket.

– Use tweezers to grab the overhanging corner and peel the gasket back slowly.

– Look closely to find the two indicated slots. Use the tweezers to lift this part of the connection away from the slots.

– Alright, grab those tweezers and gently lift the speaker out of its snug little spot. Easy does it!
