Fairphone 4 Back Cover Replacement

Ready to swap out that busted back cover on your Fairphone 4? Follow these steps to give your phone a fresh look and keep things protected.
Step 1
Don’t forget to turn off your phone before diving in!
– Gently slide your thumbnail, or a prying tool like a spudger, into the little gap at the bottom right corner of the back cover.
– Carefully work the back cover loose by prying it up, just enough to pop the plastic clips free.
Step 2
– Gently use your thumbnail or an opening pick to slide along the right side of the phone. This will help you loosen up the plastic clips. Take it slow and steady, you’ll get there!
Step 3
– Gently glide your way along the bottom of the phone to pop those plastic clips loose. You’re doing great!
Step 4
Gently press the back cover back into place, giving it a firm push until you hear a satisfying snap from the plastic clips—that’s your cue that everything’s locked in tight. If you need a hand, you can always schedule a repair.
– Gently slide your way along the left side of the phone to unclip those sneaky plastic fasteners.
– Now, just lift the back cover and voilà! The rest of those clips will give way, and you can easily remove it.
