DIY Guide: LG G Watch Rear Case Replacement Tutorial
Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 4 Steps
Follow this upbeat guide to swap out the rear case on your LG G Watch. If you run into a jam, remember you can always schedule a repair.
Step 1
Spring bars are like tiny superheroes holding your wristband halves to the watch body! They’ve got shoulders on both ends, ready for action.
Get ready to put those fingers to work! A little pressure will be your friend for the next step. You got this!
– First, slide the wristband down on the spring bar so you can see the shoulder of the spring bar pop out.
– Now, gently grab the exposed shoulder with your tweezers to move on to the next step.

Step 2
This step’s a bit tricky! Take it slow and steady to keep the spring bar from launching into orbit.
– Alright, grab your trusty tweezers and give that spring bar a gentle nudge. Just a little press will do the trick, collapsing it a smidge so it pops out of its comfy little hole.
– Now, with a bit of finesse, carefully coax the other end of the spring bar to release the wristband from the watch face. You got this!
– Time to work that magic again! Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other wristband. You’re practically a pro now!
Step 3
– Grab your trusty T5 Torx screwdriver and pop out the four shiny silver 2mm x 3mm T5 screws keeping that back cover in place.

Step 4
– Slide that trusty opening pick right between the rear case and the rest of your device to give those two halves a little nudge apart.
– Now, gently pull the two halves apart like you’re opening a book—easy does it!
Success!
