In order to replace your screen you are going to need the proper tools. There are screws that need to be unscrewed and components that need to be pried open carefully. The tools needed will be plastic opening tools, PH #000 screwdriver and tweezers. With these prepared everything should be ready to start the replacement of the screen for the LG Watch Urbane.

Step 1

– Gently press on the band to reveal those sneaky pins hiding underneath.

– With a trusty pair of tweezers, carefully pluck out the pins, one from each side, so you can keep the watch face looking sharp and clean.

Step 2

– Grab your plastic opening tools, and gently pop open the back cover of the watch. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair

Step 3

– Grab your trusty PH000 screwdriver and let’s get those three screws out of the way to free the motherboard from the watch. You’ve got this!

– Now, take your plastic opening tools and gently detach the four connectors that are hanging out with the motherboard. Easy peasy!

Step 4

– Grab your trusty plastic opening tools and gently lift up that motherboard. It’s like lifting the lid on a secret! Go slow, it’ll thank you later.

– SKIP THIS STEP IF YOU’RE ONLY REMOVING THE MOTHERBOARD: Use those same plastic opening tools to carefully pry the battery free. Just be gentle—you don’t want to wake it up too abruptly.

Step 5

– With the motherboard and battery out of the way, it’s time to tackle the dock connector. Let’s do this!

– Grab your PH000 screwdriver and unscrew those two little screws to free up the dock connector. You’re almost there!

Step 6

– Now that you’ve tackled those pesky screws, the dock connector is ready to dance! Give it a gentle nudge and lift it away from the frame to reveal the screen underneath.

– Carefully lift the dock connector away from the frame, and voilà! The screen is now in plain sight.

– The screen is a bit clingy, stuck to the back of the glass with some adhesive. Take your time and be gentle as you peel it off.
