Asus PadFone X Mini Speaker Replacement Guide: Step-by-Step DIY

Step 1

This isn’t the cover that comes with the speaker already on it.

– Turn your phone face down and check out the bottom right corner. You’ll spot a little groove just waiting for you! Grab a plastic opening tool and gently lift up to pop off that outer cover like a pro.

Step 2

– Gently pop the battery out from the top of your device like you’re lifting a lid off a treasure chest!

Step 3

– Alright, let’s tackle those 10 2 mm T5 Torx screws hanging out around the edges. Grab your screwdriver and give them a twist!

– Now, it’s time to gently lift off the cover. You’ve got this!

Step 4

You’ll find the speaker tucked in on the inside of the cover, hanging out to the right of the camera hole. It’s a pretty chill spot, eh? 😎

– Flip that cover over, amigo!

Step 5

– Gently lift out the speaker using a trusty pair of tweezers—it’s all about minimizing damage, folks! Then, pop in the new speaker like a pro.
