This guide is here to help you tackle the replacement of the earpiece speaker adhesive in your Pixel Fold. Just follow these steps to smoothly remove the earpiece speaker if you haven’t done that yet. If you find yourself in a pinch, remember, you can always schedule a repair!
Step 1
– Grab your tweezers or fingers, and pluck out any adhesive chunks from the frame.
– Put a few drops of high-concentration isopropyl alcohol (over 90%) onto the frame.
– Use the flat end of a spudger and your trusty tweezers to remove the leftover adhesive from the frame.
– Wipe away any remaining adhesive residue with a lint-free or microfiber cloth.
Step 2
– Grab those tweezers, or your fingers, and carefully remove any adhesive under the earpiece speaker.
