Step 1

Step 2

– Alright, let’s loosen those screws! Remove the sixteen 4.0 mm Phillips #00 screws holding the midframe to the display assembly. You’ve got this! If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.

– Let’s get started by freeing the clasps along the battery slot, then gently push the front assembly out from the middle housing – it might take a bit of effort, but you’ve got this!

– Now we’re getting to the good stuff. We can see the USB board, but we can’t remove it just yet. There are a few things to consider: the USB board flex connector is attached to the back of the motherboard, the LCD screen needs to be removed before we can take out the motherboard, and the USB board assembly is connected to two touch keys under the touch panel.

Step 5
