Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) Battery Replacement
Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 3 Steps
Dive into this guide and effortlessly swap out the battery pack for your Samsung Galaxy J3. Just make sure to power down your phone before getting started. If your battery looks a bit puffy, handle it with care! To get the best performance from your shiny new battery, give it a good calibration: Charge it up to 100%, then keep it charging for at least a couple more hours. After that, use your device until it decides to take a nap due to low battery. Wrap it up by charging it all the way back to 100% without interruptions. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 1
– Get a good grip by inserting a fingernail or the flat end of a spudger into the divot to the left of the rear-facing camera – it’s the perfect spot to start prying.
– Now, gently pry the rear cover away from the phone, working your way around until all the plastic clips are released. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair

Step 2
– Take off the rear cover – it’s time to get inside your phone.
– To put the rear cover back on, line it up with the back of your phone and gently squeeze the edges until you hear the clips snap into place. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair
Step 3
When using the spudger, remember to be gentle—too much pressure and you might just give that battery a surprise it doesn’t want!
– Time to get that battery out – start by inserting a fingernail or the flat end of a spudger into the divot below the battery pack. Gently pry it open.
– Now, carefully pry the battery pack out of its recess. Take your time, it’s almost out.
– The final step – remove the battery pack completely. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair
