How to Replace Apple Lisa DAC: Step-by-Step Guide for Classic Mac

Step 1

– Check out the Apple Lisa Disassembly Guide to easily pop off the Lisa’s real panel like a pro!

Step 2

– Find Lisa’s expansion slots.

– Look for expansion slot 2.

– Gently pull out the metal rod from slot 2 and turn it 90º clockwise.

– Slide the Lisa DAC smoothly into expansion slot 2.

– Turn the metal rod back 90º counter-clockwise and push it in to lock the Lisa DAC securely in place. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.

Step 3

– Time to pop Lisa’s rear panel back on like a pro!
