Step 1
– Give that lever a gentle lift to pop the case open!
Step 2
Before diving into the inner workings of your device, make sure to zap away any static electricity! A quick touch to a grounded surface—like those metal PCI slot covers or any other grounded metal—will do the trick. And hey, if you’ve got an anti-static wrist strap, throw that on for extra safety!
– Take off the side panel of the Mac Pro, you rockstar!
Step 3
– Find the two RAM trays nestled at the bottom of your Mac Pro.

– Gently pull the RAM tray out of the case using both hands, making sure to hold the edges of the RAM board as shown. You’ve got this!
