How to Replace Samsung Galaxy A15 Front Camera – DIY Guide
Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 22 Steps
Get ready to swap out the front/selfie camera in your Samsung Galaxy A15! Just a heads up, when it’s time to put everything back together, make sure you’ve got some replacement adhesive handy for that back cover. Let’s do this!
Step 1
– First things first, unplug all those cables and make sure your phone is powered down completely. We want to give it a nice little nap!
– Now, press and hold the power button along with the volume down button at the same time. This will bring up the shutdown menu, just like magic!
Step 2
A hair dryer can come in handy, but watch out for overheating your phone—the display, internal battery, and plastic back can be sensitive to heat. Aim for a temperature that’s just a tad too hot to touch comfortably.
– Give your iOpener a little love and heat it up! Then, gently place it on the right edge of the back cover for a cozy two minutes. You’re doing great!

Step 3
Just a heads up, there’s an extra layer of adhesive hanging out near the bottom of the phone. Other than that spot, keep your tools no deeper than 4 mm from the edge. You’ve got this!
– While the adhesive is taking its sweet time to soften, here’s some handy info for you:
– There’s a layer of adhesive holding the back cover snugly around the edge of the frame.
Step 4
If you’re having a bit of a struggle, just crank up the heat a little more to help loosen that adhesive.
– Grab a suction handle and place it on the back cover, aiming for the center of the right edge like a pro.
– With a solid grip, pull up on that suction handle! Give it a good, steady tug to create a little gap between the cover and the frame.
– Now, slide in an opening pick into that gap you just made. You’re doing great!
