Heads up!
Before diving into your phone’s inner workings, make sure to juice that battery down to below 25%.

Ready to tackle that cracked screen on your Samsung Galaxy A10? You’ve come to the right place! This guide will walk you through replacing just the screen while keeping the original frame and motherboard intact. Just a heads up: some replacement screens come with a new frame (or chassis), and that’s a whole different ball game. So, double-check you’ve got the right part before diving in! And remember, safety first—make sure your battery is below 25% before you start disassembling. A punctured battery can be a real firecracker, but discharging it reduces that risk significantly. Don’t forget, you’ll need some replacement adhesive to stick everything back together when you’re done. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 1
– Grab your trusty SIM card eject tool, or if you’re feeling crafty, a straightened paper clip will do just fine! Now, gently insert it into the little hole on the SIM tray found on the left side of your phone.
– Give it a good press—don’t be shy! That tray is just waiting to pop out.

Step 2
When putting the cards back, just remember to get them in the right way in the tray. You’ve got this!
– Time to pop out that SIM card tray! Just give it a gentle nudge and watch it slide right out. If you’re feeling stuck, no worries—if you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 3
The back cover is secured with some nifty plastic clips.
– Gently slide an opening pick into the gap between the screen and the back cover at the bottom of your phone, right near the charging port. You’ve got this!
Step 4
– Push the pick along the bottom left corner to pop off the clips.
Step 5
– Gently glide that opening pick along the left edge all the way up to the top left corner of your phone to pop those clips loose!
Step 6
– Gently glide the opening pick from the top left corner all the way to the top right corner to pop those pesky plastic clips loose!
Step 7
– Gently slide the opening pick from the top left corner down to the bottom right corner to pop those last clips free. You’ve got this!
Step 8
– Let’s get that back cover off! It’s time to peel it away like a banana to reveal the goodies inside.
Step 9
– Take out the three Phillips #00 screws (3 mm length).
Step 10
Those clips can be a bit stubborn sometimes. If you’re struggling to lift the motherboard cover, just give the spudger a little twist to make it a breeze!
The rest of those plastic clips should pop right off as you go, or you can easily unhook them with your hands.
– Grab that trusty spudger and use its flat end to gently lift up the motherboard cover, releasing those sneaky plastic clips holding it down.
– Now, go ahead and take off the motherboard cover!

Step 16
If your phone’s screen is sporting a crack, the suction handle might not cling on as expected. Give it a go with some strong tape, or use a bit of superglue to stick that handle right where you want it and let it set. Then you’re all set to continue!
– Grab a suction cup and stick it on the screen, right near the bottom edge of your phone.
– Give that suction cup a gentle pull upwards and slide an opening pick into the tiny gap between the display glass and the frame.
– Carefully glide that opening pick to the bottom left corner to slice through the adhesive – you’ve got this!
– Keep the opening pick in the corner to stop that stubborn adhesive from sticking back together.

Step 17
– Pop in a second opening pick and glide it over to the top left corner. Keep those picks in place to stop the adhesive from making a comeback.
Step 18
When you’re getting close to the front-facing camera, just use the tip of the opening pick. It’s the best way to keep that camera safe and sound—no smudges or damage here!
– Slide a third opening pick under the top left corner of the display like a pro!
– Gently glide that pick along the top edge of the phone, slicing through the adhesive with finesse.
– Keep that opening pick right where it is to stop the adhesive from making a comeback.
Step 19
Hold your horses! Don’t yank the display all the way off just yet—the display cable is still snugly threaded through the frame and might be sticking to the inner side of it. Take it slow and steady! If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
– Pop a fourth opening pick into the top right corner of your phone like it belongs there.
– Gently slide that pick down the right side and around the bottom corner to slice through the last bits of adhesive holding things together.
– Keep that fourth pick stuck in the bottom right corner to stop the adhesive from playing tricks and resealing.
Step 20
– Gently lift the screen from the top edge of your phone. You’ve got this!
– Carefully thread the display flex cable through that little gap in the frame and remove the display like a pro.
– If your new part didn’t come with preattached adhesive, no worries! The coolest way to secure that new screen is with some custom-cut double-sided tape. Just stick it to the back of the screen, then delicately feed the display cable through the frame. Once everything’s aligned, press the screen into place and give yourself a pat on the back!
