Step 2
– Pop out the three identical Phillips screws from the memory door like a pro!
Step 3
– Lift up the memory door just enough to get a good grip, then slide it toward you and away from the casing. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.

Step 5
– Time to get your screwdriver ready! Let’s tackle those 6 screws and get this repair party started!
Step 6
– Take a moment to power down your computer and grab your trusty Phillips screwdriver. Now, let’s get to work! Carefully unscrew those four 3.2 mm Phillips screws hanging out on the port side of your device. They’re just waiting for a little attention!
Step 7
– Give your computer a little twist and turn it 90 degrees! Now, with a gentle touch, remove those two 3.2 mm Phillips screws chilling at the back of your device.

Step 10
– Gently detach the trackpad and keyboard ribbon cable from the logic board, peeling away any tape that might be holding it in place.
– Next up, it’s time to remove the upper case!
Step 11
– Gently slide the iSight cable to the left and pop it out of its connector on the logic board. Easy peasy!
Step 12
– Gently unplug the inverter, left fan, and left ambient light sensor cables by sliding a spudger underneath each one and lifting it up with care. You’ve got this!
