How to Replace iPad 2 Wi-Fi Front Panel Adhesive Strips

Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 14 Steps

Time to give your iPad 2 Wi-Fi a little TLC by swapping out the adhesive that holds the front panel to the rear case. Before you dive into the sticky stuff, make sure both surfaces are squeaky clean for the best bond. Grab a spudger and gently scrape off any stubborn old adhesive bits, then use a paper towel with some rubbing alcohol or Goof Off to wipe down those gluing surfaces. And remember, as you tackle this task, peel up each adhesive strip as you go – it’ll keep things smooth and easy!

Step 1

– Grab that home button with a trusty pair of tweezers, but remember, we’re aiming for gentle here!

– Now, carefully lower the home button and snugly fit it into the round opening at the bottom of the front panel. You’ve got this!
