Step 1
– Time to get your screwdriver ready! Let’s tackle those ten screws together:

– Gently use your fingers to pop the lower case away from the MacBook’s body near the vent. It’s like giving your device a little lift!
– Now, go ahead and remove the lower case completely.
Step 3
To gently coax the connector out of its socket, try prying upwards on both short sides. Think of it like a little dance to help it wiggle free! Just watch out for the corners—they’re a bit delicate and can break off easily.
– Gently slide the edge of your trusty spudger under the battery connector and give it a little lift to pop it out from the logic board. You’ve got this!

– Gently nudge the battery cable away from its cozy spot on the logic board, so it doesn’t accidentally make any connections while you’re in repair mode.
Step 5
– Gently slide the flat end of your trusty spudger under the AirPort/Bluetooth ribbon cable connector and carefully lift it up from its cozy spot on the logic board. You’re doing great!

Gently pull the cable straight out, keeping it level with the logic board. Yanking it up might cause some serious damage to either the board or the cable. Let’s keep everything safe and sound!
– Gently wiggle the camera cable free from its snug little home on the logic board.

– Gently nudge the AirPort/Bluetooth ribbon cable to the side as you peel away the camera cable from its adhesive buddies clinging to the subwoofer and the AirPort/Bluetooth bracket.
– Guide the camera cable out from beneath the retaining finger snugly molded into the AirPort/Bluetooth bracket. You’re doing great!
Step 8
– Grab your trusty spudger and gently nudge that antenna connector nearest to the logic board upwards from its cozy spot on the AirPort/Bluetooth board.
– Now, let’s guide that antenna cable out from beneath the finger molded into the AirPort/Bluetooth bracket. It’s a simple move that’ll make a big difference!

– Just like we did in the previous step, it’s time to gently unplug the last three antenna connectors. You’ve got this!
– Next up, let’s guide those cables out of the slots in the AirPort/Bluetooth bracket. A little rerouting goes a long way!

– Unscrew the five little screws waiting for you!
Step 11
– Lift the AirPort/Bluetooth assembly and the Subwoofer up from the center of the optical drive’s side until they are free from each other. Keep it steady and don’t worry, you’ve got this!

– Gently detach the AirPort/Bluetooth assembly, being careful of that delicate antenna contact nestled near the upper case corner.
Step 13
– Carefully lift off the EMI tape that’s hiding the AirPort/Bluetooth cable connector.

– Grab your trusty spudger and gently pry up the AirPort/Bluetooth cable connector from its cozy little home on the AirPort/Bluetooth board.
– Now, go ahead and detach the AirPort/Bluetooth cable like a pro!

– Keep on peeling that EMI tape off the bottom of the AirPort/Bluetooth bracket and give it a gentle tug to remove it from the assembly.

– Unscrew the three 3 mm Phillips screws that are keeping the AirPort/Bluetooth board snug in its bracket. Let’s get this little guy out of there!

Take a moment to gently handle the pink thermal pad on the bracket – we want to keep it in one piece, so let’s give it the care it deserves!
