Step 1
– Hey there! You’ll notice some tiny clips holding the back cover snugly to the chassis. There’s a little groove right above the power button that’s just waiting for your fingernail or a spudger to give it a gentle lift.
– Now, take your time and carefully disconnect the back cover from the chassis. You’ve got this!
– Once that’s done, go ahead and remove the back cover. Easy peasy!
Step 3
– Pop out the SIM card and microSD card like a pro!
Step 4
– Grab your trusty steel laboratory spatula and let’s tackle those four metal shields! Use that spatula to gently pry the covers out from their cozy spots in the chassis. Just slide the tip of the spatula underneath those covers and you’re good to go!
Step 5
– Start by unscrewing the twelve Phillips screws that are keeping the chassis snugly attached to the display. Make sure to gather those little screws in a container so they don’t wander off! You’ll be dealing with 12 x 3.9 mm Phillips screws, so keep that in mind.
Step 6
– Hey there! The chassis is not just hanging out with screws; it has some sneaky little hooks keeping it cozy with the display. Grab your trusty steel spatula and let’s gently pry it apart!
– Slide the spatula in between the display and the chassis. Starting at the power button is like opening a door to adventure—it’s super easy!
– Now, glide that spatula all the way around the device, like you’re giving it a little hug.
– Once you’ve successfully detached the chassis, go ahead and lift it off the display. You’re doing great!
Step 7
– First up, gently unplug the sub-board’s connection. Easy peasy!
– Next, let’s disconnect that antenna cable. Just a little wiggle and it’s free!
– Now, it’s time to detach the display connection. You’ve got this!
– Don’t forget to unplug the brightness sensor. It’s just a little plug, no biggie!
– Now, let’s disconnect the proximity sensor. Almost there!
– Finally, unplug the connection for the front camera. You’re doing great!
Step 8
– Alright, let’s get that logic board free! It’s snugly attached to the rear camera and the vibration motor, so gently nudge it towards the USB port to release it.
– Now, with a steady hand, lift that logic board up with care.
– And just like that, you can remove the logic board from the enclosure. You’re doing great!
Step 9
– Pop that logic board right into the enclosure where it belongs!
– Just a friendly reminder—make sure all those pesky connections are clear and not stuck under the logic board.
– The logic board is snugly connected to the rear camera and vibration motor attachments. Gently nudge the logic board up toward the top of the enclosure until you hear that satisfying click!
Step 10
– First up, let’s plug in that front camera to the logic board. It’s like the eyes of your device!
– Next, connect the logic board to the proximity sensor. This little guy helps your phone know when to dim the screen!
– Now, it’s time to hook up the brightness sensor. Let’s adjust those dazzling displays!
– Go ahead and connect the display now. This is where all the magic happens!
– Don’t forget to attach the antenna cable to the logic board. We want to keep you connected!
