Acer Aspire 3410 Screen Replacement

Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 5 Steps

Step 1

– First things first, let’s pop out that battery and get it out of the way.

– Now, carefully lay your laptop down with the lid resting on the table. Grab your screwdriver and start unscrewing those screws—there are 14 long ones and 2 short ones. You got this!

Step 2

– Time to get started! Use a flat screwdriver to carefully pry up the keyboard, keeping an eye on the connector between the keyboard and the motherboard.

– Next, gently disconnect the keyboard from the motherboard by lifting the black part of the FPC connector – it’s like a little puzzle piece!

– Now, let’s get screwing (just 8 of them, don’t worry!) – remove the screws to move forward with your repair.

Step 3

– Gently unplug the two flat cables with the FPC connectors, just like shown in the picture.

– Carefully remove the lid and disconnect the sound card reader (look for that red/black cable pair).

Step 4

– Remove the four screws from the corners of the screen lid. Keep those tiny guys safe—nobody likes a missing screw.

– Gently slide out the four clips along the sides of the screen. Pro tip: keep the screen away from the motherboard so you don’t end up with any new scratches to admire.

Step 5

– To get your device back in action, simply reverse the steps you followed to take it apart.

– You made it! If you need help or have any questions, you can always schedule a repair

Success!
Alright, you’re done! Now, just retrace your steps in reverse to put everything back together.
And hey, if you run into any trouble or feel like calling in the pros, you can always schedule a repair. We’ve got your back!
