Dive into this guide to confidently check the connections of your Acer Aspire V5-473P-5602 touchpad or to swap out a troublesome touchpad. Before you start the replacement dance, take a moment to peek at our troubleshooting page here. Many times, a little TLC is all that’s needed to fix the issue without a full replacement! However, if you’ve done a factory restore and the hiccup lingers, it might be a hardware hiccup instead. This could be a connection snafu or a touchpad that’s just not feeling it. To check those connections, just unplug and reconnect the touchpad. If you’re looking to sidestep a replacement, why not switch to a mouse for a bit? Just remember to deactivate the touchpad using the FN and F7 key combo before you make the switch!
