Step 1
Be gentle when handling your device, since using too much force can lead to a damaged screen.
– First, make sure your device is completely powered off before you start – safety first!
– Now, grab your trusty Jimmy tool and carefully insert it into the seam on the side of your device. Don’t worry, it’s easier than it sounds!
– Gently pry the Jimmy tool around the seam, using a little up and down motion to loosen things up. Before you know it, that back panel will be detached in no time!

Plug it into the sleek, black port on the motherboard—it fits like a glove.
Slide that cable sideways, giving it a smooth push up towards the top of the device. You’ve got this!
– Peek at the top of the tablet and spot that white cable connector.
– Grab your trusty blue plastic opening tool and gently nudge the white cable connector out of its cozy port.
Step 3
– Grab that trusty Phillips #000 screwdriver and unscrew all seven screws.
– You’re looking at two shiny silver screws and five sleek black screws—yep, that adds up to seven!
