ASUS PadFone X Station Power and Volume Contacts Replacement

Step 1
– Grab your trusty plastic opening tool, slide it into the edge, and work your magic to pop it open.
– If it’s being stubborn, don’t be shy—use your hands to gently peel the back off from the front. You’ve got this!
Step 2
– Find CON1501, your elusive little friend! It’s hanging out just below the contacts. Look closely for that bright orange strip of film in the top right corner of the Asus Padfone X Docking Station – it’s your beacon guiding you to the treasure.
Step 3
– Let’s get started by removing that first Phillips screw
– Grab your trusty +PH00 Phillips screwdriver and head to the top right corner of the back of the ASUS Padfone X docking station. You’ll find the Phillips screw just waiting to be unscrewed. Simply position the screwdriver inside the screw and rotate it counter-clockwise until it’s fully removed from the docking station.

Step 4
– Disconnect ribbon from CON1510
– Alright, time to disconnect that ribbon from CON1510! Grab a trusty pair of tweezers and gently lift the connector up and back from the device. You’ve got this!
