– Grab your trusty heavy-duty spudger and gently pop the back cover off the frame—lift it all the way off and set it aside.

– Grab your trusty Phillips #0 screwdriver and unscrew the two 4.7 mm screws. Easy peasy!

Step 4

– Grab a spudger or your trusty fingernail, and gently lift the white plastic latch that’s holding the ribbon cable in place.

– Once the latch is free, carefully pull out the ribbon cable and set it aside, making sure it’s clear of the board.

Step 5

– Gently lift the board up and angle it away from the rest of the computer—think of it like removing a slice of cake, but with a little more precision and a lot less frosting.
