Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 4 Steps
Step 1
We are removing the battery to avoid the possibility of an electrical discharge when working with this system.
– Turn your laptop upside down, like it’s doing a little dance!
– Gently slide those latches to the outside of the laptop to free the battery, just like opening a treasure chest.
– Carefully lift the battery out of the laptop, as if you’re rescuing a little gem!
Step 2
– Take a deep breath and grab your screwdriver—loosen up those two screws holding the access door snugly to the laptop. Easy peasy!
– Now, grab your trusty spudger and gently pop open the access door like a pro. Don’t rush—patience is key!
– Finally, using your fingers, lift off the access door and set it aside. Voilà! The memory cards underneath are ready for action.
Step 3
– Spot the two hard drive screws chilling on the left side of the hard drive casing.
– Grab a Phillips head screwdriver PH0, loosen those screws, and set them aside.
– Gently nudge the hard drive to the left, then lift it out of the laptop casing with care.
Step 4
– To put everything back together, just work your way through these steps in reverse – easy peasy!
– You did it! If you need help with another repair or have any questions, you can always schedule a repair
