DIY Guide: How to Replace the Battery in Mobvoi TicWatch C2

Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 6 Steps

A straightforward, fun guide to swapping out the battery in your TicWatch C2 on your own.

Step 1

– Grab a sharp and thin object to press and lift the plastic shell with the charging connectors. It’s glued on, so a little heat can help. Don’t remove it completely—just lift it because the connector is attached to the mainboard.

Step 2

– Gently pop off the plastic cover and unplug that charging connector from the mainboard like a pro.

Step 3

– Unplug those 4 connectors left to free the battery and mainboard block.

Step 4

– Alright, let’s gently separate the mainboard and battery block from the display front housing – easy does it!

Step 5

– Grab your trusty Philips screwdriver and unscrew the two screws holding the mainboard and battery in place inside the plastic shell. Take your time – they’re just waiting to be set free!

Step 6

– The battery is stuck to the mainboard with a bit of glue, but don’t worry, it’s a breeze to remove!

Success!
