DIY Guide: Samsung Galaxy TabPro S Front Facing Camera Replacement
Duration: 45 minutes
Steps: 5 Steps
Get ready to snap selfies like a pro again! A working front-facing camera is a must-have for capturing life’s special moments with the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S, model SM-W700NZKAXAR. Without it, you’ll miss out on the fun of taking pictures with the front side of your tablet. So, let’s get that camera up and running!
Step 1
– Gently pop off the back of the tablet by using a flat tool to pry it open. Think of it as giving your tablet a little spa day!
– Once the tool is snugly under the back, glide it all the way around the tablet to unclip it completely. It’s like giving your tablet a nice little hug!
Step 2
– Now that the back is off, gently use some tweezers to disconnect all those cables. Go slow and steady to keep your components safe and sound.
– With the cables out of the way, it’s time to pop out the battery! Grab a flat plastic tool (just steer clear of that metal spudger) and get to it!

Step 3
– Grab your trusty Phillips #0 screwdriver and take out the screws holding the motherboard down—no need to be shy, you’ve got this!
– Once those screws are out, lift off the metal plate, and ta-da! The motherboard is all set to be swapped out for a new one.

Step 4
– Gently lift the motherboard using a flat plastic opening tool (skip the metal spudger, it’s not invited!).
– Just a friendly reminder: make sure all components are disconnected first, especially the front-facing camera, which is chilling above the motherboard in the top center of the frame.
Step 5
– Put your device back together by following these steps in reverse. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
