Duration: 15 min.
Steps: 5 Steps

In this guide, we’re here to help you swap out that pesky speaker on your Huawei P8 Lite that’s been slacking off. If your tunes are coming through faintly or your ringtone is playing hide and seek when calls come in, it’s time for a change. Let’s get your phone back to its musical glory!

Step 1

– Alright, before diving into the repair adventure, make sure to power down your device! Just press and hold that standby button until the shutdown menu pops up on your screen.

– Once you see it, give that touchscreen a tap to confirm you’re ready to shut it down.

Step 2

– Gently pry off the back cover from the enclosure frame. It’s held in place by a few sneaky hooks. Use a pick to slide between the back cover and the frame to release those hooks. Keep going until you’ve freed the entire device!

– Now, lift that back cover off your device and set it aside.

Step 3

– Let’s get to work! First, grab your trusty screwdriver and take out those seven screws holding the speaker in place. You’ll need 3 x 2.7 mm PH00 Phillips screws and 4 x 3.7 mm T5 Torx screws for this task.

– Now, gently lift the speaker out of your device. You’ve got this!

Step 4

– Pop that speaker back into its cozy spot at the bottom of your device!

– Secure it with seven screws: three 2.7 mm PH00 Phillips and four 3.7 mm T5 Torx screws. Easy peasy!

Step 5

– Put the back cover back on.

– Use your finger to press it onto the entire frame so all the clips on the back cover click into place on the enclosure.
