Step 1

– Slide an opening pick into that gap and move it toward the bottom right corner.

– Slide in a second opening pick and glide it down to the bottom left corner like you’re on a smooth ride.

– Now, pop in a third opening pick at the bottom of the phone. This little buddy will hang out there during the rear glass removal to keep that pesky adhesive from sealing back up.

Step 5

– Gently start sliding the tip of the opening pick from the bottom left corner along the side of your S9 Plus.

– Let that opening pick chill in its spot once you’ve cut the adhesive halfway up the left side of the phone.

– Slide the opening pick from the bottom right corner about halfway up the frame and hang loose there.

Step 7

– Gently lift the edge of the rear glass where the volume button hangs out. Be careful, it’s a delicate dance!

– Grab your trusty spudger and use its edge to carefully pry up and disconnect that sneaky fingerprint sensor flex cable.

– Start by gently taking off the rear glass. It’s like peeling a sticker, but way more satisfying!

– When you’re putting everything back together, just follow this guide to stick on some fresh adhesive and pop that rear glass back in place.

Step 12

– Time to show that battery flex cable who’s boss! Use the flat end of a spudger to gently pry it up and disconnect it.
