When your device takes a nap, the PRAM battery is the little hero that keeps the time, date, and other settings safe and sound. So, even when it’s off, your machine is still in the know!
Step 2
– Unscrew the three matching Phillips screws from the memory door like a pro.
– Don’t forget to keep track of which screws came from where—this little tip will make putting everything back together a breeze!

– Raise the memory door just enough to grab it, then slide it towards you and gently pull it away from the casing. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair

– Unscrew the duo of Phillips screws chilling in the battery compartment near the latch.

– Unscrew those four Phillips screws on the port side of your computer and let’s get this party started!

– Twist your device by a cool 90 degrees and unscrew the duo of Phillips screws chilling at the back of your device.

– Give your computer a cool 90-degree spin and whisk away those four Phillips screws from the side. Keep it groovy!

Hold up, speedster! Don’t just rip off the upper case like it’s a band-aid. There’s a sneaky ribbon cable connecting it to the logic board. Gently does it!
– Start by lifting the rear of the case, then wiggle your fingers along the sides to loosen it up. Once the sides are free, give the case a little shimmy to release the front. This part might feel like a dance-off with your device, so stay cool! Watch out for those sneaky tabs above the DVD reader—they pull out vertically.
– Heads up! The two tiny tongues on the left front might get a bit bent out of shape during the removal. No sweat—just give them a little persuasion to slide back into the grooves on the lower case when you’re putting things back together.

– Time to bust a move! Disconnect the trackpad and keyboard ribbon cable from the logic board, peeling off any tape that’s in your way.
