Steps: 7 Steps
Hey there! No worries if you’re stuck here. Remember, you’re just one step closer to fixing your device like a pro! If you need a helping hand, don’t hesitate to schedule a repair
Alright, time to jazz up your Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra by swapping out that back cover! Just a heads up, how well you stick it back on determines whether your phone stays water-friendly. But don’t worry, losing the IP (Ingress Protection) rating won’t rain on your parade!
Step 1
First things first, give your phone a little break—unplug it and power it down before we dive in.
– Grab your trusty iOpener and let it work its magic on the back cover for a solid three minutes. This will help loosen that stubborn adhesive beneath, making your repair journey a whole lot smoother!

Step 2
– Get a suction handle and stick it on the back cover’s bottom edge, as close to the edge as possible.
– Use the suction handle to lift the back cover gently, creating a small gap between the cover and the frame.
– Grab an opening pick and slip it into the gap you’ve made.
– With the opening pick, carefully slide to the lower left corner to cut through the adhesive.
– Keep the opening pick in place to make sure the adhesive doesn’t seal back up.

Step 3
– Time to get to work! Start by slipping a second opening pick at the bottom edge of your phone.
– Gently glide that opening pick over to the bottom right corner to slice through that pesky adhesive.
– Keep those opening picks right where they are to stop the adhesive from sticking back together.
Step 4
If the adhesive feels tough to slice through, it probably just cooled off. Give your iOpener a warm-up for a couple of minutes—two to three should do the trick!
– Pop in a third opening pick at the bottom right corner of your phone.
– Gently glide the opening pick along the right edge of your phone to cut through that sticky adhesive.
– Keep the opening pick nestled in the top right corner to stop that adhesive from making a comeback.

Step 5
When you’re slicing near the camera assembly, just slide in the tip of the opening pick (about 4-5 mm) to keep the camera safe and sound. No smudges allowed!
– Pop a fourth opening pick right under the top right corner of your phone.
– Gently slide that pick along the top edge to cut through the adhesive like a pro.
– Keep the opening pick snug in the top left corner to stop that adhesive from sticking back together.
Step 6
– Pop in a fifth opening pick right under that top left corner—let’s get this party started!
– Now, glide that pick down the left edge of the back cover to cut through any leftover adhesive. You’re almost there!
