Step 1
Hey, safety first! Don’t risk an electric shock – be sure to power off and unplug your device before getting started.
– Flip your device over, so its bottom panel is now facing up. Let’s get ready to dive in.
Step 2
– Carefully peel away the black rubber strips from the top and bottom of the back panel. Take your time – these strips are just waiting to come off, so be gentle but firm.
Step 3
– Grab your Phillips #00 screwdriver and take out the fifteen 3 mm screws from the back panel. Keep those screws safe—they like to roll away!
Step 4
– Gently pop off the back panel—no wrestling moves required.
Step 5
– Time to tackle those three red 4.5 mm Phillips #00 screws holding down the speaker on the right side of the motherboard. Grab your trusty screwdriver and set them aside for later—you’re doing great!
Step 6
– Grab your plastic opening tool and gently disconnect the speaker wires from the motherboard, taking care to do it carefully.
Step 7
– Gently pry out the right speaker from the device, making sure not to damage any surrounding parts. If you need help along the way, you can always schedule a repair.

– Grab your plastic opening tool and gently pry out the connector that links the headphone jack port on the left side to the motherboard. If you need a hand, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 9
– Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to carefully remove the red 4.5 mm screw at the top of the headphone jack port. If you need help, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 10
– Carefully lift out the headphone jack port—nice and easy, no rush.

– Grab your Phillips #00 screwdriver and gently unscrew those three bright red 4.5 mm screws holding the speaker in place. You’re doing great—keep going, and if you need a hand, you can always schedule a repair.

– Take out the left speaker.
