Step 1
– Start by sliding the switch located at the bottom of the laptop.
– Once you’ve done that, the battery should pop right out, and you can simply remove it.
Step 2
– Grab a pair of tweezers and gently pull off the two rubber feet from the back. Once they’re gone, you’ll spot the two screws hiding underneath.
Step 3
– First, orient the device so that the silver battery compartment is facing you. Grab your Phillips #00 screwdriver and remove the ten 3 mm screws securing the battery compartment. Next, using the same screwdriver, take out the two 4.5 mm screws that are hiding under the rubber feet you just removed. If you need a hand along the way, you can always schedule a repair.
Step 4
For a smoother experience, try to twist the case off in a clockwise direction, just like the images show. You’ve got this!

– Find the RAM tucked away under a sleek black flap right where the laptop screen meets the body. You’ve got this!
