Steps: 5 Steps
Step 1
– Give your tablet a little break and power it down.
Step 2
– Let’s get started – press and hold the home, power, and volume up buttons all at once.
– Keep holding until the Samsung logo appears on the screen, then release the power button – you’re making progress!
Step 3
– Next, you’ll see a screen that says ‘installing system updates’ followed by ‘no command.’ Just hang tight and let it do its thing – don’t press anything during this part, okay?
Step 4
– Now that you’re on this screen, use the volume down button to navigate to ‘Wipe Data / Factory Reset’ – it’s your next step to getting your device back in action!
– Press the power button to select it, and let the magic begin!
– Repeat the process to confirm ‘yes’ on the next screen – you’re almost there!
– You’ll know you’ve succeeded when you see the confirmation message at the bottom of the screen, letting you know your device has been wiped clean.
Step 5
– To put everything back together, just work your way through these steps in reverse – easy peasy!
